Those YG main artists, Bigbang and 2NW1, are ready to meet their fans as it comes to the end of 2013; with solo albums and in many different ways. Especially for Bigbang, each member performs as a solo and all of their albums are “big-hit” as those songs are always recorded as the top rank of all k-pop charts. Furthermore, the member of Bigbang, TOP, has announced that his solo album, “DOOMDADA”, will be out on the 15th and this was enough to make k-pop fans even more excited.
Along with Bigbang, 2NE1 will also be out with a new album. They have already published their “new” songs in the mid-2013 and their comeback stage will be broadcast through Mnet Asia Music Awards. Thereby, 2ne1 is anticipated to have consecutive success with those three songs within this year only.
Bigbang and 2NE1 are the symbols of YG who are now the leaders in the k-pop market. Especially, G-dragon’s solo was ended with lots of supports and love from his fans in Korea and overseas. Taeyang is also increasing his fans by publishing his new song “Ringa Linga” on the 8th last week.
In addition, 2ne1 has been showing their influence as the most powerful girl-group in Korea by winning the k-pop industries with their new songs, “Falling in Love” and “Do You Love Me?” in July and August. Their new album and the concept of comeback stage in November have not been officially published yet, however; people are hugely expected from 2NE1 who always shows outstanding performances and different genres of music.
Once those main artists from YG are on their track, the “maknae-line” of YG will be out next. According to the agency, Lee-hi, Akdong Musician, and Winner are progressing with their albums so that they can lead the k-pop industries following by the successful comebacks from the YG main artists. Winner already has a number of fans by Mnet Survival Program and Lee Hi is known as the “monster-rookie”. Also, songs from Akdong Musician have been on the top of all k-pop charts without them being on a single TV program. Hence, YG “maknae-line” also make k-pop fans excited with their coming new albums.
This clearly shows those YG “babies” will be out to hunt the k-pop market right after the seniors are successfully done with their comeback stages. One of the viewpoints will be: Can Lee-hi, Akdong Musician, and Winner make “big-hit” on their albums? No doubt, those “maknae-line” are already known for their potentiality and possibility as artists so we will see how much energy they can bring out following by the YG senior artists.
